The Office of Agricultural Economics Region 5 (OAE 5) participated in the seminar on "Agricultural Situation in 2024 and Outlook for 2025: Unbox & Unlock Thai Agriculture – Every Factor is an Opportunity" on Thursday, December 19, 2024. Mrs. Sujaree Phicha, Director of OAE 5, led a team of staff members from the office, along with volunteer agricultural economists Mr. Paiboon Kingsida from Nong Hong District, Buriram Province, and Mr. Theerachat Srilamuntri from Kabcheung District, Surin Province. They attended the annual seminar organized by the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE) at the Makkawan Rangsan Room, Army Club, Bangkok.

The seminar was honored by Dr. Narumon Pinyosinwat, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, who opened the event and delivered a keynote address. The Secretary-General of the Office of Agricultural Economics, Mr. Chantanon Wannekejor, presented the agricultural economic situation and strategies for driving agricultural GDP growth. Attendees also participated in a panel discussion on the topic "Adapting Thai Agriculture to Embrace Global Trends and Leap into the Future."
